For example, you are a foreign-national postdoc or scientist visiting PNNL.
If you don't yet have an account, send a message to your host with the information listed below. Clearance procedures, especially for citizens of sensitive countries, could take up to 16 weeks. Special concern countries are not eligible for computer access. Upon your arrival at PNNL you should receive your network password for general computer access. About the same time you may also receive information from the MSCF on access procedures, depending on the computers you will be using.
If you already have an account, you can request access to additional computer resources at any time in the future by first asking your host to update your Foreign National Visitor's Access form (FNVA) then using the online Integrated Operations System (IOPS) to request access to a another machine at the MSCF. The Computer Access Request system (CARS) will also need to be updated.
