- Scientific Computing, December 10 and 11, 2004
The Molecular Science Computing Facility presents a technical workshop to demonstrate the role that a next-generation MSCF high-performance computing facility will play within three to four years across the scientific community. In breakout sessions, science drivers and computing needs in biological sciences, chemical sciences, and environmental hydrology will be discussed. This technical workshop will be held December 10 and 11 at the Environmental Molecular Science Facility.Followup:
Approximately 55 people attended the Scientific Computing workshop on December 10 and 11, 2004, including scientists from all over the U.S. and abroad. The results of this meeting led to the publication of the Greenbook (.pdf, 2.37mb), a document that describes the science drivers and associated requirements for enhanced, high-performance computing resources at EMSL. - MSCF For Dummies: Jupiter, the ECS1 and Everything (Don't Panic!), June 26, 2001
