Hi Edo and Jarek,

That is exactly what I was trying to do when I compiled nwchem for 
lam/mpi but could not get to work. (That was the case that I got the 
armci buffer errors I talked about earlier). I was concerned about the 
7.1.1 version as opposed to the 7.0.x version the manual talks about, 
so I even tried it with the older one and had the same problem.
