Hello all,
Our group has installed the precompiled IA-64 version of
NWchem 4-7 on an SGI Altix. Single processor jobs run fine.
Parallel jobs crash within a few seconds with an error message:

tmp = /u/shtsai/pdir/nwchem.p
 Creating: host=altix, user=shtsai,
           file=/usr/local/nwchem-4.7/bin/nwchem, port=39385

** Address Error **

End of diagnostics
  4: interrupt(1)

I am not sure what is causing this problem. I saw in the
mailing list archive (May 2005) that someone else had this
identical problem, but unfortunately I did not see a solution
posted.  

I will appreciate any help or suggestions.
