Kisurb Choe
Postdoctoral Research Associate

Kisurb Choe is a postdoctoral research associate investigating the spatial lipidomics involved with human health. He applies matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry imaging (MALDI-MSI) with bioinformatics algorithms to develop laser ablation electrospray ionization sources. He participates in the Kidney Precision Medicine Project and the Human BioMolecular Atlas Program, applying  these approaches to investigate the spatial lipidomics and metabolomics in tissue samples for disease phenotyping.
