Abstract

The purpose of this project is to gain understanding how the fuel electrode chemistry and microstructure is affected by exposure to coal gas contaminants. This is of importance to operating solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) on gasified coal, in support of DOE-FEs Solid State Energy Conversion Alliance (SECA) Coal-Based System Program.
