Alexander Smith
Post Bachelors Research Associate

Alex Smith is a post bachelors research assistant at the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory with a background as a mechanical engineer/designer and more than five years of computer aided design (CAD) modeling experience. Smith works with researchers to create innovative and unique solutions to their design problems that can range from fabrication to high-temperature atmospheric pressure gas reactors.

Smith supports ongoing projects such as the Operational Technology Assurance program, the Aging & Lifetimes program under the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Office of Engineering and Technology Maturation (NA-115) programs, and EMSL’s Science & Technology Development program.
