August George
Postdoctoral Research Associate

August George is currently a postdoctoral research associate in the Systems Modeling Integrated Research Platform at the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory. Broadly speaking, his research aims to develop and deploy high-performance computational methods to better understand complex biophysical systems and datasets. Recently, his work has focused on the calibration and simulation of complex biochemical network models as well as the classification of proteins from noisy and distorted imaging datasets. He holds a PhD in biomedical engineering from Oregon Health & Science University, and a BS in physics from Portland State University.
